The IS&D (Information Systems and Development) department within this company aims to develop and maintain the best IT solutions for our clients and internal partners. The Risk IT department within IS&D that is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of IT systems used for assessing, managing and reporting risk
The Risk IT .NET Development team is looking for a highly motivated C#/ASP.NET developer. You will be part of a team maintaining an existing application and developing new applications for the Risk departments at RI with a focus on delivery and quality.

Your function
Brief description of role and responsibilities:
You will be involved in all aspects of software development with responsibilities depending on experience. Responsibilities can include:
o Working with business experts to help define user stories and acceptance criteria
o Estimate and help plan iterations
o Using TDD, ATDD and Continuous Delivery to implement the solution
o Support testers
o Involvement in changing processes and technologies used within department
o 3rd line support
o Creating supporting documentation

Your Profile:
As well as the usual responsibilities of a software developer, you show an interest in the discipline of software development. That is, what makes 'good' software which not only delivers for the business but is of a high quality and is maintainable. Knowledge and practical experience of techniques to achieve this is essential. These include TDD and mocking frameworks, design patterns, SOLID design principles, DRY, YAGNI, continuous integration, etc. You will be someone who knows these not just because you have to, but also because you want to.

Knowledge of:

o Web development (ASP.NET MVC and WebForms)
o TDD with a mocking framework
o SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, etc

o Agile techniques
o C# (3.5 or above)
