Developer - ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL, (vb6, Crystal Reports)

Key Accountabilities:

* To ensure all developed systems comply with departmental standards.
* To work within departmental project methodology for all new IT projects.
* To provide user training material for systems being developed.
* To provide technical cover as appropriate.
* To ensure implemented systems satisfy the requirements of the area management team.
* Collect information to analyse and evaluate proposed systems.
* Cover all aspects and stages of work in relation to hardware and software interfaces with the operating system. Analyse and evaluate business procedures or problems to define data processing needs.
* Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes.
* Work with support staff to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration.
* Select among authorised procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise.
* Write and maintain system documentation.
* Document system problems and resolutions for future reference.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position you will need to have experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Reporting services and SQL Server. Having some experience of VB6 and Crystal Reports to maintain Legacy VB6 systems will be an advantage but not a necessity.
