DEVELOPER/ANALYST
Our client, a global financial company located in Dublin city centre is looking to recruit an experienced developer/analyst to join their team on a contract basis.
The successful Developer/Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting and developing functionality using Service-Now. The consultant will also be responsible for issue resolution and troubleshooting, understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes.
The candidate should be capable of planning schedules and coordinating key stakeholders in order to meet delivery timelines as well as maintaining project budget & spend.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for tool administration and support.
- Tool configuration & customization.
- Form design.
- Functional testing & performance testing.
- All aspects of the Application Development Project Management
- Gathering business requirements and analysis
- Configure Service-Now applications, various modules and plug ins
- Develop Import Sets for Data Integration
- Create and monitor performance metrics
- Create ad hoc reports
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years experience in IT
- 2 to 4 years experience in Service Now tool preferable.
- Strong Scripting knowledge in Javascript
- Good knowledge of XML and JSON
- Good knowledge of Java
- Database development knowledge with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 or Oracle is a plus
- Service-Now System Administration certification
- Service-Now development and configuration
- Service-Now Scripting experience using JavaScript, XML
- Application development knowledge in the following areas is a plus- C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio .NET, classic ASP.
