1.) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems, 
2.) 3+ years of technical experience in a fast paced, Information Technology Department consisting of a combination of staff and contractors. 
3.) 3+ years of experience in Enterprise application development using Adobe Flex, Action Script 3.0 and Flex Builder with Eclipse IDE and/or 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Java programming, 
4.) 3+ years in Flex unit and/or Junit testing 
5) This developer will also need to be able to work independently with minimal direction 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (listed in order of importance): 
(The preferred qualifications will be used to further narrow the pool of candidates that meet all of the basic qualifications) 

1) Very strong knowledge of Spark components and customizing basic Spark components. 
2) 3+ years' experience in Standard Flex Framework such Mate, or Cairngorm. 
3.) 3+ years in SQL, Stored Procedure and Database, preferably Oracle. 
4.) 1+ years in UML and data modelling, working knowledge of Visio. 
5.) Experience with application development in other language such as Java/C++/C-# . 
6) Troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 
7) Experience with CVS/SVN source control system. 
8.) Experience in Agile process and Methodologies 
9.) High degree of creativity, interaction design and problem solving ability. 
10.) Very strong communication skills (Ability to communicate one's ideas through their design) 
11.) Experience working with various departments and a good team player. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (listed in order of importance): 
(The responsibilities of the job will form the basis for benchmark screening questions) 

1.) Design, develop and maintenance of client side functionalities of KPATHS Application suite primarily using Java and/or Adobe Flex, Flex builder and Eclipse development environment. 
2.) Troubleshoot deployment and production problems. 
3) Provide support for production issues. 
4.) Architect the solution of new feature enhancements. 
5.) Ensure Software design and code implementation meets coding standards and best practices, flexibility, configurability, reusability, testability, maintainability and scalability. 
6.) Collaborate with Solution consultant, team lead and development manager, and business partner to translate the business requirements into a functional design documents. 
7.) Participate in code reviews. 
8) Create design documentation and drawings as required.
