JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is for a member within the strategic product reference data team - this team develops and supports Asset Control (AC - A vendor product master system with several components) to acquire and distribute product reference data. The primary function of the role will be a developer within the team and assist in driving the strategic direction of the area, the day to day activities of the overall development team and our clients.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- Work with BAs and users to understand the business requirements
- Work with the team on architecture/design
- Implement components of ROMA and monitoring tools to on-board new asset classes using:
- AC proprietary language
- Java
- Perl
- Shell Scripts 
- ETL tools 
- Performance tuning (hardware, software and database level tuning)
- Help with QA, UAT, regression testing and releases.
- Level 3 support
- Work with AC vendor to resolve any software issues
