For our mobile development team we are looking for a skilled software engineering professional specialized in the design and development of Android mobile applications. The candidate should have strong skills in development of native applications. It is an advantage if the candidate has experience in Java Back End or iOS development as well.

YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Engineer you work in an all-round devops team with Dev, Ops, UX and business colleagues to develop and maintain the ING mobile banking app. Your main focus will be on Android but Back End (Java) or iOS experience is an advantage. The Back End and app have to be quality controlled by fully automated tests for which the team is responsible as well. We work according to a SCRUM Agile development process releasing a new version of the app every month. The level of expertise and experience within the Mobile department is very high and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We don't forget to have some fun while crafting our apps. We have a high bar and want an experienced developer with proven track record to raise it even further.

YOUR PROFILE

You are the Dev Engineer ING is looking for because you have:

-Minimal Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or comparable (HBO opleiding)
-5 or more years of Java (J2EE/Spring) development experience
-3 or more years of native Android development experience
-Experience with test driven development & test automation
-Dutch and/or English speaking and writing
-Good social and communication skills
-Experienced in Agile/scrum or scrum master
-Experience in user interface development (visual aspects of the app are really important for us)
-You are familiar with continuous Integration tools like: GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus and are able to configure these tools.
-You have knowledge of XML, JSON, web-services, security. Knowledge of HTML5, Mobile Web App technology. Dexguard, JavaScript (for automated testing). Experience with tablet development, knowledge on Social Media API(s) such as Facebook, Twitter, and such
