Desktop Technician

Yoh has multiple contract opportunities available for DESKTOP TECHNICIANS to join our client in Cupertino, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Troubleshoot hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Setting up PC's moving them around, hooking up AV equipment etc.
- Configure and install new computers using standard software image and packages. Perform manual software installations as needed. Migrate existing users from old to new hardware.
- Participate in computer moves, hardware/software installs, and various IT requests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Three (3) plus years of Desktop Support experience supporting desktop PC's, laptops, printers, scanners, and related systems.
- Experience providing hardware and software desktop support to end users in a Windows and MAC environment.Strong skills in Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2008 and Microsoft Office 2010.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
