OVERVIEW

- Install and deploy PCs or laptops and all associated peripherals
- Move or physically relocate a PC or laptop and all associated peripherals
- Add or incorporate new hardware or software to the current configuration
- Change the PC or laptop's status or engage with re-configuring existing hardware or software
- Monitor the routine delivery of products into the Customer site, secure the assets, inspect for quality assurance, and organize all assigned paperwork for proper tracking and scheduling of deployments
- Clearly communicate with end users to schedule daily deployments of PCs or laptops and all associated peripherals to their installation location
- Refresh end user assets by the installation of a newly acquired asset to replace an existing end of life asset
- Validating the asset tags or serial numbers on the equipment being removed with careful attention to detail
- Ensure connectivity to the network and restore access to appropriate network services
- Migrate end user data and settings from their old system to the new system
- Process paperwork correctly by obtaining signature from end user upon completion of an installation
- Prepare the removed system for return to the LifeCycle Service Center in accordance with client guidelines.
- Provide support that includes desktop configuration, software installs and removals, de-installs, driver updates, and virus remediation as defined by the client
- Work under general supervision
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude required

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

- CCNA REQUIRED
- A+ Certification
- 2 year degree in IT related field or equivalent experience in IT
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (eg Excel, Outlook)
- Windows 7 proficiency with prior experience supporting in customer assignments
- Experience with enterprise ticketing system for managing trouble tickets and queue operations
- Understanding of SLA driven performance requirements within vendor/client operations
- Required years prior experience in operating/maintaining PCs, laptops, and peripherals
- Experience with warranty repair on OEM equipment and ability to demonstrate process familiarity
- Poised and polished individual capable of successfully working with VIP level staff with appropriate communications and behavior as well as corporate users
- Proficient in PC skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience using process improvement tools
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Works flexibly and actively to meet business priorities
- Seeks and offers willingness to help/train whenever possible
- Seeks opportunities to grow skills and learn new tasks
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must bring a high level of energy to meet expectations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
