WE ARE LOOKING FOR DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN IN CA, DETAILS:

LOCATION: PALO ALTO, CA

START: 2 WEEKS

DURATION: 6MONTHS+

JOB SUMMARY

Provide daily Desk Side Support

Typical requirements for day-to-day delivery and technical support for end-users of desktop applications, telephones, handheld email devices, printers and computer hardware.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the Windows desktop community. Diagnoses and troubleshoots computer and general network issues. Provide support for field personnel remote communications and connectivity issues.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training/education

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Requires minimum 5 years knowledge of Desk Side Support

• Requires minimum 5 years knowledge of phone system support

• Knowledge of computer applications (ie: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Visio, etc.) required

• Advanced knowledge of Windows environment and computer hardware and software at an intermediate or advanced level

• Experienced in remote customer support including wireless LAN access, VPN, DSL, and Cable services.

• Experience in Backups, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, and Windows server environments

• Experienced in supporting PDA's (iPhone and iPad).

• Experienced in supporting senior level executives

• Experienced in Altirisparticipates in determining objectives of assignment; work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives
