Desktop Support Technician

DESKTOP TECHNICIAN HILLSBORO, OR ONGOING CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

OVERVIEW:

- Analyze desktops, Servers, hardware, software, and operating systems
- Build machines from scripted images
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Maintain good documentation
- Work with vendors for warranty issues
- Provide support in a standalone and or networked environments
- Collect requests from customers on-site
- Process scrap computer equipment
- Knowledge to determine storage media has been removed from various devices (laptops, Servers, desktops)
- Process equipment for resale
- Shipp and palletize various electronics
- Asset management with inventory
- Manage inventory/stockrooms

REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to work an 8am 5pm shift Monday- Friday
- Ability to multitask
- Customer service skills
- Must be able to pass 10 year criminal background check & drug screen
- Clean driving record required and valid drivers license required
- Must wear steel-toed boots (one time reimbursement if you need to buy a pair before starting)
- Physical requirement: must able to lift up to 70 lbs.
