Desktop Support Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN to join our client in Melbourne, FL.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the installation and support of computer hardware and software to the user community.
- Required to provide client service to all levels of employees via remote control, telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
- Establish procedures for remote location support.
- Participate on assigned EIT team initiatives.

Job Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft OS's and OFFICE suites.
- Knowledgeable in multiple DELL desktop and laptop hardware platforms.
- Display a willingness to work with others to resolve work orders, and provide assistance when necessary.
- Display initiative, be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates troubleshooting skills.
- Communicate effectively with customers and other technicians.
- Possess time management skills for scheduling and prioritizing work.
- Must have the ability to learn and retain new skills and procedures in a constant changing environment.
- Familiar with REMEDY work order system.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- A+, Security+ and Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Must keep abreast of new technology.
