TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Supports all applications in standard Workstation desktop, including Microsoft Windows7, XP/Vista, Office 2007, Exchange 2008
- Uses RealVNC, SCCM, Remote Assistance or other for remote control support and distribution of software packages
- Uses Jira for managing work queue, requests and tickets
- Supports remote users with network access using Citrix or VPN connections
- Sets up and configures new/reassigned Workstation hardware
- Performs Adds, Moves and Changes to mobile and VoIP phones, ordering as needed
- Prepares obsolete equipment for disposal
- Troubleshoots and resolves Workstation hardware problems
- Recommends purchase of new equipment and replacement parts
- Assists network administrator with various LAN support tasks and projects as directed
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to relate technical issues to non-technical people as required
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
ADMINISTRATION
- Responds to and logs end user support calls
- Maintains IS hardware/software inventory
- Coordinates equipment repairs
- Provides regular written status reports to management
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience
- On-Call availability for after-hours and emergency support
- Automobile for transporting broken/repaired equipment and making local purchases
- Possible occasional travel to remote locations for tech support and hardware administration
- Excellent Customer Service work ethic
