Desktop Support Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen working for my Nottingham based client, they are looking for a desktop support technician to join their team on 3 month contract. My client is looking for a strong communicator with a good 2nd line technical skill set and a customer service focus.

Day to day duties will include:

-Using AD tools, command line to find and identify machines on the network, adding users to Active Directory.
-Imaging new PC's.
-User problems setting up and configuring new printers.
-Network problems.
-Safe boot encryption security for laptops and some desktops.
-Remote desktop with the use of Dame Ware and Windows remote desktop.
-Iphone, Ipad and HTC mobile phone installs.
-Data base solutions.
-Rollout projects.
-Copying and reinstalling user's profiles, favourites, data and new & old MS Office accounts.
-Setting up wireless computers.
-Configuring old databases to work on new machines.
