Desktop Support Specialist - Secret

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our client in Havelock, North Carolina.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contractor will provide desk side support for the users on their Microsoft Operating Systems
- This position provides End User Services in direct desk side support to the customer troubleshooting and repairing computers and peripheral devices
- Work schedule is an 8 hour day between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. five days a week. Some over time may be required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Position needs to be familiar with Windows Operating systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Military background is a plus but not a requirement.
- Position requires an SSBI accepted in JPAS and final Secret clearance and Security+ certification.
- This position requires some overtime and local POV access for completing services in support of customers within the Goose Creek, SC geographical area.
- Must have prior work experience in a desk side support role.
- Must have knowledge of the Microsoft computing environment, HP and Dell computing equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with an online ticket management system.
- Experience working directly with customers to resolve desktop computing, peripheral, connectivity issues and/or installing additional computing services.
- Must have Security + certification.
