THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading innovator in technology. They are a close knit organisation who aims to promote internally. A new opportunity has arisen due to an increased workload within the team

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join the existing team. In this role you will be first point of contact for all staff based in the Sydney office. In addition to this, the role may involve other users nationally on occasion.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH INCLUDE:

- Response and management of incidents from initial call through to resolution where possible
- Crete and manage accounts/user access etc
- Internal support of hardware, software and peripherals
- Providing wireless device support
- Maintain the service desk system
- Assist users with issues across both Windows & OSx

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking an experience Desktop Support professional who has previous experience in an enterprise/corporate environment. In this role you will be the first line of contact for all level 2 escalations and you will need to respond to issues over the phone and face to face.

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills are a key requirement for this role
- Previous experience working with an incident management system
- Ability to work to SLA's
- Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows & OSx)
- Previously experience working in an ITIL Environment
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Product suite
