DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER - 3 MONTH CONTRACT - MARKET RATES - AMSTERDAM

An exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer who is fluent in Dutch and English is needed at a leading Investment Bank based inAmsterdam.

The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting end users and VIP Users with technical issues. The main technologies will primarily concern Microsoft Office and Windows.

The Desktop Support Engineer will also be responsible for infrastructure management, maintaining stock, managing desk moves and decommissioning obsolete hardware.

The Desktop Support Engineer will need knowledge of financial systems such as Bloomberg, as well as fluency in both spoken and written Dutch and English.

KEY SKILLS:

- Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English
- Good knowledge of financial systems (eg Bloomberg)
- Banking or financial services experience
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments including Office 2010 and desktop application integration.
- Knowledge of IP telephony.
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes
