IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Citrix VDI environment, Microsoft Office 2003 or later, Office 365 and any other authorized desktop enterprise application
-Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment
-Track and close tickets which are assigned to desktop support team via the ITSM tool
-Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment
-Perform remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment
-Responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring and repairing local & wide area network hardware and infrastructure like firewalls, routers & switches
-Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment
-Troubleshooting networking problems to ensure minimum downtime and maximum availability of network
-Requesting and coordinating vendor support
-When the restoration is beyond the scope of the Desktop Support Administrator, escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 3 support team member
-Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests
-Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software
-Provide backup support and assistance to the Network Administrator as needed
-Responsible for tracking hardware and software inventory
-Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to the Desktop Support Administrator
-Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the desktop environment
-Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible
-Work with other IT team members regarding new branch builds and upgrades
-Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Software and hardware troubleshooting skills
-Good knowledge of Unified Communications platform (Email, Lync & VC (Video Conferencing Systems) / TP(TelePresence))
-Good knowledge of how the network components and server devices work
-Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2000/2003/2008 experience
-Routers, switches and firewall experience
-Experience in Microsoft Office 2007, Office 2010, Office 365 support
-Working knowledge of AD, Exchange 2007/2010 and remote control tools
-Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
-Analytical and problem solving skills
-Good communication (both verbal and written) skills
