DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER - DURHAM

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and well-rounded Desktop Support Engineer skilled in: Windows 7/8 support experience, Lotus Notes LAN, WAN, deployment, etc. based in Durham on a long term contract, to support internal users on Desktop based issues.

JOB DUTIES

- Troubleshooting skills, including Windows 7/8 experience & Office 2003/2010
- Experience supporting Exchange (Desirable)
- IOS/Android experience
- AD/Domain Knowledge
- Supporting users on Lotus Notes (Desirable)
- Evaluates recommended hardware or systems changes and their potential impact on the environment and execution results.
- Fully knowledgeable of infrastructure components and/or current operating environment, specification development, testing, debugging and documentation.
- Works on technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.

Ideally you will hold either a: MS qualification - MTA, MCSA etc. and a bachelor degree or equivalent.
