Beacon Hill Technologies is currently looking for a DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER for a client located in the LODI, OHIO area for a 6+ MONTH CONTRACT.

- Provide end user support on high complexity tickets to restore service and resolve Incidents related to the end user computing environment.
- Provide support and resolution for problem tickets and identification of root cause by utilizing Microsoft utilities such as Event Viewer, Procmon, etc.
- Implement fixes based on root-cause analysis to prevent further Incidents.
- Provide input and recommendations to secure end points and continuously improve the security posture of the end user computing environment.
- Provide advanced support of Active Directory and Group Policy management tools as it relates to end user computing and end point devices.
- Provide Scripting support when necessary, Powershell, VB, etc.
- Package or automate installation of software packages and prepare for delivery via SCCM.
- Deploy and administer software updates, security patches and system updates.
- Support Citrix XenDesktop VDI and XenApp Shared Hosted Desktop.
- Deploy and administer desktop related security products.
- Participate and provide feedback for large complexity projects as it relates to the end user computing environment.
- Plan and implement changes during off hour change
