Desktop Support Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arised for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer working internally within a global services company who houses their IT locally in WA. This is an excellent role for someone wanting to be a part of a business critical team within one of Australia's largest brands.

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, this newly created position will require you to perform tasks such as:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Providing 1st and 2nd level support
- Installing, building, and deploying PC's and Laptops
- Deploying IP phones
- Setting up mobile phones
- Maintaining the printer fleet
- Using Active Directory to perform user administration

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

REQUIRED:

- Previous experience in helpdesk positions
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience building/imaging PC's
- Hold a current valid driver's license
- MUST have experience with SCCM, Exchange, Windows Server and Active Directory
- Microsoft certifications

DESIRABLE:

- Experience with Lync and Autocad
- Degree in IT
- Available to start immediately
