Desktop Support Analyst | (P8)

A large organisation in Perth is currently seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join their team on an initial 3 month contract. 

The successful candidate will be required to provide first and second line support to the business, the main responsible of the role is as follows:

- Providing first/second level support onsite
- Prioritising and resolving IT related issues and escalating issues where appropriate;
- Recording and documenting problem resolution in accordance with set procedures
- Maintenance of systems
- Monitoring software applications, hardware and remote connections

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

- A minimum 2 years experience working in a Support Analyst position
- Excellent work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and with little supervision 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Solid organisational skills
- Good knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of hardware related issues - laptops, desktops, printers, Routers
