Desktop Support Role

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Communicate directly with customers via incident or service request ticketing, phone, e-mail and remote diagnostics to identify, reproduce and resolve customer reported issues using Microsoft 'Service Manager' tool
- Provide resolution to all desktop support requests to internal users
- Configure, troubleshoot, isolate and resolve all customer desktop issues including desktop/laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, printer/scanners/copiers, audio visual equipment, hardware peripherals and other desktop related equipment
- Works closely with the rest of the service desk team and can also work independently to troubleshoot all support requests and follow escalation policies
- Corporate experience with iPads and Apple products in general

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of 3 years technical support experience in a corporate support environment
- Expert knowledge of Windows XP/7/8 required
- Expert knowledge of desktop hardware including MFD and common desktop software required
- Expert knowledge of LAN connectivity required
- MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)including vendors
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Position may require work on hands and knees to deploy computer equipment
- Excellent time management, issue management, and prioritization skills required
