JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Support all desktop hardware, associated peripherals and related system software. Accountable for installations, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing. Provide suggestions and solutions to internal associates with regards to utilization and optimization of their desktop technology environment. Create documentation for user training material, installation procedures, usage guidelines, and problem resolutions.
GENERAL ROLE PC hardware and operating systems, tablets and mobile devices, computer peripherals
- Lifting of computers & peripherals is required (up to 50lbs).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Portrays confidence and a positive attitude at all times.
- Experience with desktop management systems (Altiris, LANDesk, MS SCCM)
- Experience with various desktop related technologies (VMWare, VDIs, Citrix, BES, VoIP)
- Experience in a business setting with an emphasis on PC Support and helpdesk skills within a networked MS Wintel computing environment using, Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes/Exchange, SMS, Active Directory.
