Desktop Support - All Round Experience

Our major Government Client is currently looking for an experienced Desktop Support person to join them on a 3 month contract.

You will need good all round experience and will join a small IT team of five. This will suit you if you have a passion for animal welfare, are looking for a friendly team environment, like to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy working hard to help a team to a common goal.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience within a technical support environment
- Experience with Windows desktop, server operating systems, and key networking components.
- Prior experience with MS Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, BlackBerry would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritse and use initiative
- Specific experience installing/refreshing/repairing Windows operating systems, and knowledge relating to help desk, support and system administration.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills
- TAFE/University qualifications and/or industry certifications highly regarded
- Current unrestricted drivers license
