DESKTOP SUPPORT III

Link Technologies is currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Specialist. This is a contract opportunity for an established client in the Las Vegas, NV area.

JOB DUTIES:

- Responsible for end-user desktop and helpdesk support to include, but are not limited to the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing of equipment hardware, peripherals, including printers, scanners, and multifunction devises and software COTS and in-house applications.
- Specialty support activities may include Active Directory (AD), AD Group Policy Objects, Windows XP/7 Professional, Microsoft Office Suite, advanced support and setup of Microsoft Outlook.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent education and experience and experience and 6 years of related IT experience.
- Experience with end-user desktop (physical and virtual) computer installation and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of VMWare ESXi server environments.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Windows XP/Windows 7 Professional, Microsoft Office Suite applications, advanced support and setup of Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of HP printers and peripherals.

Note: One year experience shall substitute for one year of education. Any experience utilized to fulfil education requirements cannot count towards the position's required number of years of experience.
