A world leading resource organisation is seeking a level 2 desktop support individual to join there IT support team. As a member of the local IT support team, this role will be providing support to internal users across the Southern Pacific region.

Reporting to the team lead and the IT manager the responsibilities of this individual are to provide application, hardware and printer support to various users across the organisation. In addition there will also be the opportunity to work on a number of project role outs and implementations. Initially the role is a 3 month contract, will the view to extend to an on going basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide on-site support to various internal users across the organisations
- Provide remote support to users across the Southern Pacific region
- Hardware support of desktops, laptops, printers and Blackberry devices
- Applications supports for Citrix, Exchange 2010, Windows 7 and Microsoft office suite

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 4 years experience providing IT support
- Experience and knowledge supporting Active Directory, Exchange, Remote user support and Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to analyse and problem solve
- Relevant technical certifications
