Desktop Engineer

For one of our clients in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer with 6+ years of experience in design and deployment of Windows-based solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing and producing secure Microsoft based products
- Doing AppSense infrastructure and configuration.
- Configuration and troubleshooting in a Desktop Environment.
- Handle business requirements.
- Doing optimization and performance testing on the applications.
- Working closely with the operations team and providing solutions to different problems/situations.

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Degree in Computer science/engineering or other relevant experience.
- Experience with Virtualization in large Environments.
- Very familiar with Windows Environments and troubleshooting on different platforms.
- Comfortable with security requirements and standards.
- Ability to handle problems and resolve them on his/her own.
- Active Directory
- AppSense
- Windows OS and Windows server
- PowerShell and Citrix
- Knowledge of PKIs and WMI
- Understanding of the ITIL processes
