Desktop Engineer - Based in Zurich - 12 on going months contract
We are urgently looking to recruit an experienced Desktop Engineer, who is currently based in Zurich with excellent Swish and English language skills.
As the Desktop Engineer you will be required to maintain and repair the current range of supported IT equipment with the least amount of technical support. You should require minimum direction from your immediate manager and be able to follow established Company Policies and Procedures. You are required to have good customer management skills to maximise customer satisfaction and company performance.
Essential Skills
*Previous support background
*Solid knowledge and experience of maintaining server equipment, including a range of tape storage systems and UPS
*Extensive experience with Installations, Moves, Adds and Changes within a data center environment.
*Software experience, including the loading operating systems, diagnostic and monitoring tools.
*Proven experience handling paperwork and spares is essential.
*APS - HP ProLiant ML/DL/SL Servers [2010] knowledge
*Proven understanding and support of current Operating Systems.
*Knowledge of a wide range of IT products.
*Proven track record of supporting a wide range of IT Hardware.
*Must be fluent in Swish and English language skills.
