Desktop Deployment Lead (2nd Line) - Paris - 3 Month Contract

My prestigious global client has a requirement for a VDI (Virtual Desktop) Lead Engineer on an initial 3 month rolling contract. The successful candidate will be a fluent speaker in both French and English and be either relocate or be based in Paris.

ROLE: -
The role is split into two parts, the 1st task at a high level is working with our existing consultants and client to perform a server/service mapping process in readiness for consolidating physical/virtual machines onto a vSphere 5 environment in the Paris HQ site. The 2nd task following the service mapping will be a deployment lead for a VDI migration. This will initially be involved in the information gathering and testing of the VDI solution with the onsite IT team and business users.

REQUIRED SKILLS: - - Good communication and written skills both French and English (Fluent spoken in both)
- Excellent vSp here skills
- Veeam
- Knowledge of HP Server hardware
- Document configuration of systems and service for use in a pre-defined and documented migration process
- P2V and V2V skills
- WINTEL knowledge

A valid passport and be able and willing to travel to UK occasionally

The following skill set be a bonus

- Exposure to VDI or Citrix environments
