RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs client services support activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solution, products and services across the company's fleet.
- Supports Remedy, Help Desk Ticket and Request for Services closure; must be familiar with concepts of tool based help desk tickets
- Creates & manages User ID's within Active Directory and Mainframe environment.
- Utilizes Identify Management tools and processes in support of User ID's.
- Coordinates and supports assignment of user ID/Passport Administration activities across sites and corporate locations
- Performs complete imaging of PCs
- Rebuilds/upgrades user PCs
- Configures new user PCs, requiring interaction or teaching
- Loads standard desktop software, site-specific applications, and non-standard software
- Tests standard and non-standard hardware and software
- Tests and supports technology implementations/upgrades
- Performs, manages, and documents PC refresh/infrastructure service activities in support of life cycle planning and technology upgrades
- Supports fleet-wide purchase/vendor services, in support of the nuclear sites and corporate locations, as required.
- Sets up, configures, and troubleshoots wireless devices (cell phone/data device), including the assignment, deployment, and asset tracking of wireless devices (pager, cell phone, data device, radio)
- Troubleshoots software, hardware, and network issues
- Owns aspects of Asset Tracking and Metrics for the fleet.

Skills
Experience troubleshooting IBM hardware including, desktop and laptop computers will be required. Two to four (2 - 4) years of relevant experience required. Microsoft and/or A+ certifications required. Must have appropriate technical skills in hands-on support of PC hardware and software, troubleshooting, quality assurance testing, Virtual Desktops, Windows XP/7, Active Directory, MS Office Suite of Tools, Wireless device support, Remote Access/VPN Clients, Security encryption tools, Attachmate/Mainframe, SMS package development and staging, PC imaging/ghosting and patching, basic networking and server knowledge and experience. MS Access skills a plus. Ability to be able to lift up to 40lbs of equipment needed. Must have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
