Desktop and Mobility Chief Architect

CHIEF ARCHITECT - DESKTOP/MOBILITY

Our client, a large federally owned corporation, is looking to for an Architect with experience in desktop and mobility to contribute to the design and development of the ICT technical architecture.

The Chief Architect, Desktop and Mobility is to become a trusted advisor in the specialist area of end-user computing and will lead the development of the associated strategies, technical directions, roadmaps and implementation for the organisation

This position has a particular focus on the following

- Defining the architecture and technology standards for all desktop standard operating environments, desktop applications and infrastructure across the organisation.
- Analysis of market trends, assessing the impact of technology change and documenting technology domain roadmaps.
- Develop and implement strategies for reducing the complexity of information systems in a cost effective manner. Create and maintain the workplace mobility Domain Technology Plan

To be successful in this position the candidate will have;

- Experience in large SOE rollout
- Experience in Desktop and mobility in Ctrix environment
- Proven ability to apply conceptual and strategic thinking and planning
- The ability to investigate complex technical problems and recommend solutions
