DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for monitoring an assigned ticket queue and resolving PC related issues.
- Perform initial troubleshooting techniques in outage situations and escalates problems via escalation procedures
- Ensuring both customers and internal management are notified of issue escalations.
- Opening, updating and closing trouble tickets according to established procedures.
- Responsible for executing moves, additions, and changes (M/A/C) within the environment.
- Responsible for executing the daily, weekly, monthly operational reporting activities.
- Participates in on-call desktop support activities on an as needed basis.
- Follows structured change management processes.
- Coordinates activities with vendors as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 - 2 years experience in the desktop support field.
- Basic understanding of data communication protocols such as TCP/IP
- Familiarity with desktop management tools.
- Bachelors Degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and perform timely follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively alone and on a team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to instill quality in every aspect of the job function.
- Familiar with standard Windows operations and support of Windows based applications.
