DESKSIDE TECHNICIANS - CONTRACT TO HIRE OPENINGS!

- You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of a fully managed desktop, laptop and mobile device technology
- Delivery services include computer refresh, device management, desktop and core software distribution
- Receives and responds to escalated tickets from help desk and dispatched to user location on campus
- Job is performed with general supervisory direction with leadership from the Deskside Support Manager
- Devotes majority of daily operational responsibilities responding to escalated calls from help desk and dispatched to user campus location
- Supports file and print services, network connectivity issues, and software updates
- Performs repair and resolution of customer problems within service level agreement thresholds
- Provides support and training to help desk/walk-up
- Provides service for users at their location when appropriate
- Assists users with developing an understanding of self-service capabilities and convenience to resolve issues on their own
- Supports all components of University-owned and supported equipment and software
- Supports help desk manager in identifying root cause and developing/implementing remedial solutions
