Deskside Support Technician

My client, a well known managed service company, is seeking an experience Desktop Support Technician to work a client within the mining industry.

The suitable candidate will have exceptional level 1 -2 Desk side Support preferably gained within the mining/construction industry or any blue-collar company west Queensland. This role will require you to work on a rotating roster which includes Fly in Fly out shifts. All work will be based in Chinchilla however transportation from Brisbane is provided by the client.

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

- Proven background in level 1 & 2 phone and face to face support
- Previous experience working in blue collar environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with complex IT issues
- Preferably candidates will hold a White Card Certificate

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a long term contract and is flexible with working in remote locations. This role will be best suited to candidates who have previous experience working in Blue-collar environments due to the nature of the support needed.
