Projektbeschreibung

Our client is a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of complex chemicals and services seeking a DESKSIDE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN for an excellent contract position. Candidates must be familiar with supporting 200 users and their PCs, printers, communications. Knowledge of Lotus Notes desirable.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- PC deployment - procurement, imaging, data transfer, deploy to employees
- Printer and MFP (multi-function printer) support - troubleshooting basic issues
- PC software and hardware troubleshooting
- WebEx support
- Remote control tools (RAdmin/WebEx) to support the remote users (mainly for the support in Yeosu and Shanghai)
- Lotus Notes - email, calendaring, database document sharing, Sametime instant messaging
- Blackberry/Mobile device support - procuring, configuration, troubleshooting
- Dealing with vendors as needed if additional support is needed on specific systems
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to take direction, manage priorities and update site IT leadership as needed if conflicts arise
