Projektbeschreibung
The most important trait will be customer service skills. The candidate will be working in a high volume team rated on quality of service and how well they relate to customers. Ability to handle confidential information will also be critical.
OVERVIEW
- Prepare, configure and verify desktop systems with the required applications using a standard remote installation images and configurations.
- Provide on-demand support for users by email, IM, and in-person contact.
- Be available for support calls on an as-needed basis when emailed, called or paged.
- Troubleshoot various computer and related peripheral systems, including static-sensitive components.
- Troubleshoot various video conferencing, conference room audio/visual systems and smart phones.
- Troubleshoot software, network and computer hardware component issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years' experience providing phone/desktop support to end users
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact professionally with users in pressure situations
- Proven ability to troubleshoot a variety of user and computer issues
- Ability to learn new tasks and roles quickly and with a minimum of direct supervision
- Ability to solder
- Ability to identify basic electronic components
- Ability to lift items up to 60 pounds.
This is expected to be a long term contract position.
