DESKSIDE ENGINEER - HOOFDORP

My German-based client is keen on getting an experienced professional to join them on an initial monthly rolling project as a DESKSIDE ENGINEER.

You must be able to speak Dutch and English fluently, and be available to start ASAP on site!

As a DESKSIDE ENGINEER, you will need the following skills:

- Preferred Dell/HP Certified Technician for ordering parts through OEM and parts replacement
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong Microsoft operating System installation and troubleshooting skills
- Minimal 4 years of experience in hardware, software and networking implementation and troubleshooting in a Helpdesk or Deskside Support environment with an emphasis on Apple/Mac support
- Experience supporting Casper for deployments and software management
- Experience supporting Virtual Desktops
- Experience in SCCM level 1 troubleshooting
- Strong Break/Fix skills Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers
- Broad experience in IT related services with basic understanding of Networks, Intel Servers and Telecoms
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to provide consistent, excellent customer support to entire staff, representing a variety of personalities and management levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
- Ability to successfully pass a background security check
- Experience including remote control of PCs and video conferencing knowledge
- Handling of Tape Media and basic Back-ups loading and loading techniques
- Rotational On-call for executive support
- Coordination with client asset management group in procurement of new Hardware using client provided database system ( equivalent to Tivoli Asset Manager)
- Tracking of Hardware, Goods receipt, shipping to other locations after pre-prep on packing and scanning of equipment's to update asset database and redeployment of HW to client associated according to new hires, job transfer schedules
- Imaging of Hardware primarily on windows 7
- Asset Refresh Engagements, planning, scheduling and assignment works
- Retrieval of Hardware for client terminations and job transfers
- Disposal of Hardware in coordination with client's physical disposal agency
- Monthly inventory database reporting with in-stock assets with proper accuracy and ownership using database system equivalent to Tivoli Asset Manager and associated reporting tools
