Desk Side Support - Roll out Engineer - 2nd Level

Role: IT Provisioning

Location: Dublin

Contract: 4 week contract from 5th 30th August (This is to replace somebody on vacation.)

Role:

Required to work at our client site in Dublin for the IT provisioning role which will include the following:

- Refresh swap/retrieval
- End user coordination
- System deployment, swap, data transfer & retrieval
- Quarantine of returned systems
- Preparation for return/hot swap/redeployment/disposal
- New hire/contractor provisioning
- Miscellaneous end user IT equipment requests
- Training room setup
- Asset requests for replacements
- Return of equipment
- Termination - asset collection services
- Asset management services
- Performance Measurement & Reporting

Technical and skill requirements:

- Imaging of Desktops and Laptops
- Ability to support - Mac OS X, M/S Windows 7 and Linux
- Good awareness of Linux/Mac OS X
- M/S office
- Anti Virus software support and awareness
- Networking skills and TCP/IP awareness and understanding
- Resolve assigned Incidents, problems, and service requests
- Perform timely delivery of service per the processes outlined in the Statement of Work
- Resolve the problem by using a systematic troubleshooting approach and appropriate technical documentation, diagnostic, and maintenance procedures

Essential experience/Qualifications:

- Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work well on their own

Desired:

- Linux experience/certification
- ITIL awareness
- MCP's (MCSE/MCSA)
- ACSP

Eligibility Requirements:

- Ability to work in EU (Ireland)

Any experience in the following roles is also advantageous:

Desk Side Support, Roll out Engineer, 2nd Level support, System Administrator
