IDPP is looking for an experience 2nd line Support Engineer for a freelance position based in Luxembourg.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months + extension

Location: Luxembourg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of a dynamic team, you will perform activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing desk side computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop and laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, printers, network devices, standard software. You will provide 2nd line support to our customer's end users located in, Luxembourg. You will be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk or by running scripts using standard methods, techniques and tools. Assignments range in complexity from basic troubleshooting and repair to more difficult device repair.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

-

Take routine service calls and perform basic installations;
-

Provide hardware break-fix, troubleshooting, hardware component replacement;
-

Perform installs, moves, adds and changes in a client environment;
-

Provide basic deskside support of personal computers and associated software;
-

Handle basic, non-complex products and/or problems;
-

Maintain a high degree of professionalism;
-

Insure customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction;
-

The necessary training will be provided.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

-

You have a bachelor degree in Information Technology and can prove a first relevant working experience; experience in VIP support is a strong asset;
-

You have a general knowledge of desktop hardware and software including working knowledge of, Windows 7, Windows 8, Microsoft applications, user access set-up,
-

You have a good knowledge of Linux/Unix;
-

You have a general knowledge of Networking (wireless networking, configurations, cabling, Router)
-

You have attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a creative and problem-solving attitude;
-

You have a rapid self-starting capability and are a quick learner;
-

You have an outstanding customer-oriented attitude, excellent client communication skills and are service-minded and result-driven;
-

You are flexible, dynamic and pro-active;
-

You are willing to work out of business hours and to provide 24x7 support;
-

You act as an outstanding team-player and can work independently;
-

You are fluent in French and have a good command of English;
-

You are in the possession of a driving license B.
