Desk Assistant - (Trading Desk)

Job Description

The individual will be required to assist the EMEA banknote trading team in the end-end process of closing out client transactions, in peak times we will have around 200 transactions and 1000 line items per day. This role will involve the use of our trading system for inputting transactions on a zero limit basis. Appropriate training will be given on the system functionality.

Role Content

* Inputting of client transactions into the banknote trading system after the trade is concluded
* Inputting of vault transfer requests as initiated by the traders
* Inputting of adjustment tickets as requested by our vault or operation teams
* Notifying vendors of shipment bookings as request by the traders
* Updating of various excel spreadsheets post transaction

Requirements

* Previous data input experience
* Knowledge of excel
* Attention to detail is required
* Experience within an investment banking background desirable.
