Designer Job

DESIGNER needed for a six (6) MONTH PLUS CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chaska, MN.

What You'll Be Doing:
- This position is responsible for component selection, design updates in ProE, DCO submission and release; all to support RoHS (Restriction for Hazardous Substances) conversion and certification of current products.
- Responsibilities also include; maintaining assembly, part and detailed drawings and bills of materials associated with the instrument design and relevant RoHS updates.
- Author and execute test plans and reports, self-starter and independent worker with a bias for action and results.
- This position requires interfacing with other drafters and engineers to determine how to integrate design updates for RoHS.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BSME Degree with three (3) years of experience
- Proficient with component design updates in ProE, quick study to be able to learn and execute company DCO process
- Hands on experience with designing and building test fixtures and working in lab environment running tests,
- Experienced with creating and maintaining detailed component level drawings that include material specifications, material coatings, tolerancing and GD&T.
- Good written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with converting equipment to RoHS compliance a plus
