One of the UK's most exciting IT companies is seeking an Application Designer, based in the Isle of Man to support an infrastructure upgrade project. The successful applicant will be required to work with existing support teams to understand the applications running on the environment and their infrastructure dependencies.
Applicants must have the following:
- Experience of definition of infrastructure requirements of existing applications for upgrade planning
- Technical knowledge around; Wintel Servers, End User Computing Services, Virtualization Technology Skills (VmWare), Windows Operating Systems, Directory Services (LDAP, Active Directory).
- First class communication skills required
- A strong hands-on approach across a variety of disciplines
- Self-motivated with a strong work attitude.
- Flexible working attitude with a can do approach
- Security Clearance preferred
