Designer

My client are looking for a Designer that loves to create beautiful things! A hard working, driven and motivated individual with a strong passion for design that is demonstrated through a strong track record in creating high quality design and illustration for brands that succeed commercially.

The successful candidate will love to produce high quality design at pace for a wide range of uses through email, web, print, and general digital. You will be designing something that excites people, represents the brand and works commercially!

The Role
*Work closely with the CEO, CTO and development team to develop a best in class product and marketing approach.
*Be a part of a small, close knit team working on a wide range of activities to get a new business up and running in 6 months.
*Real responsibility working in a high performance, entrepreneurial environment that values the craft of building cutting edge and beautiful web and mobile products

Essential Experience
*A brilliant general purpose designer with a track record and who loves creating beautiful things!
*Ability to pick up a pencil and sketch.
*Responsive design experience.
*Deep Experience with creative suites such as Adobe or Gimp.
*Typography, layout and print design.
*Working alongside Front End Developers.
*Strong academic record in a relevant degree.
*Good communication skills.
*Ability to take on new tasks and adjust to them efficiently.
*Ability to manage multiple projects and work in an unstructured environment.
*Maturity to interact with senior executives and board members in an efficient and professional manner.
*Someone who takes pride in their work but is open to feedback and not too precious.

Preferred Experience
*Experience working within start ups.
*Basic CSS and HTML knowledge.
*Agile with experience of working in a Kanban or Scrum environment.
