Projektbeschreibung
The contract is with a consultancy in Brussels to be on assignment at a large client site in Brussels.
They are currently seeking a Designer for the following:
- Expertise activities: ensure technological watch; identify opportunities and propose changes for improvement; organise knowledge sharing on their domaIn of expertise - standards, best-practices, points of view, norms and methods, benchmarks, market trends, returns of experience etc.; contribute to technological choices at strategic legels; contribute to solution scenarios evaluation during elaboration of project analysis; suply technical expertise and support to different projects.
- Solution design activities: propose technical solutions scenarios towards business needs; contribute to and validate technical designs; perform technical analysis and detailed studies; design technical solutions (Datamodelling and data exchange protocols, user interfaces, application interfaces, software components); define and write technical specifications; identify and promote components/service reuse; guard overall architecture/design coherence on solutions;
- Development activities: Perform prototyping; develop modules (applications objects and components); assemble components; write documentation; use development tools and reuse existing code or libraries.
- Testing activities: Define and prepare test cases for integration and unit tests; perform unit tests and integration tests; identify, track and resolve malfunctions; use test automation tools.
- Other activities: write procedures for solution install and setup; package software developments to be deloyed on infrastructure environments; provide expertise to operations when incidents are identified and help solve the case; develop and/or maintain reusable software components and updates the nomenclature for these components; adapt to internal processes and make sure they are followed in the domain of expertise; execute quality check and code reviews on different solutions.
Languages: English mandatory; French or Dutch good level
