Design Technician

Nationally recognised timber systems organisation are looking for a joint design technician to work in Elgin. Your new company This nationally recognised timber frame company specialises in supplying a number of house builders throughout Scotland with specially built timber frames for domestic new builds. The company has a number of offices across Scotland, the Elgin office specialises mainly in the supply of timber frames for one-off builds across the region. Your new role You will be working as part of the design team for a timber frame company, where the majority of your time will be spent providing planning quality sketches for new houses in accordance with building regulations. What youll need to succeed You will need sound knowledge of building regulations for domestic new builds across Scotland. Knowledge and experience of timber-frame kits and the logistics of design and drawing the kits. Ability to liaise with clients and provide them with a quality service.
