Projektbeschreibung

Currently we are seeking a Design & System Engineer Digital Electronics with experience in the Space industry (m/f).

Your Tasks:
+ Deriving from satellite mission requirements the subsequent data handling
subsystems requirements, trade off analysis of critical dimensioning parameters
and justification of choices. Preparation of subsystem and equipment
specifications.
+ Requirements and architecture analysis at electronic function and electronics
board level.
+ Analysis of compatibility of electrical interfaces between the different subsystem
equipments, sensors, actuators, etc. EMC analysis at system and subsystem
level.
+ Requirements Specifications for the subcontracting of subsystems, equipments,
electronic modules, electrical ground support equipments, on board software,
etc.
+ Definition of verification strategy for subsystems and equipments. Definition of
test equipment architecture.
+ Design of digital systems (μcontroller, FPGAs (VHDL), state machines etc.
+ Engineering and design documentation.
+ Preparation of technical proposals answering customer specifications. Defining
engineering resources needed and planning for design and development.

Qualification:
+ Electronic engineer (equivalent to Master of Communications or Automation Engineering)

Experience:
+ Electronics Design
especially for image processing
+ Experience in simulation tools (Matlab, Modelsim etc.)
+ Experience in control technique
+ Specifications/Requirements Engineering and System Analyses
+ Digital and analog electronics for camera systems
+ FPGA design and verification with VHDL (or Verilog)
+ Explicit Space Electronic Experience
+ Knowledge of ECSS Space product assurance ASIC and FPGA development ECSS

+ FPGA System Engineering according to the ECSS document
+ Programming languages (e.g. C, Labview etc.)
+ Commissioning and test of electronic systems
+ Systems engineering of electrical subsystems of satellites platforms, instruments,
avionics systems, etc. architectural design, conceptual design, trade off analysis
between alternative solutions, evaluation of reference missions, and selection of
system concepts.
+ Requirements engineering, derivation of subsystems and equipments needs and
establishment of specifications for the development of the system major
constituents. Interfaces engineering, interfaces analysis.
+ Data Handling Systems for space programs: on board computers, communication
busses, mass memory, space qualified microprocessors, etc..
+ Good knowledge of general specifications at system level for general electrical
requirements, EMC requirements, mechanical and thermal interfaces and
requirements, radiation environment, etc.
+ EEE Components selection

General skills:
+ Good knowledge on design methodologies for space application (design
documentation, design analysis, etc.) and tools (e.g. PSpice, MathCad, Matlab,
Modelsim etc.). Knowledge in CAE DxDesigner (Mentor Graphics) will be
appreciated. Sound mathematical basis for its application to the electronics
design analysis (worst case analysis, control loops and stability analysis, etc.).
