Design Release Engineer (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Part (usage) and drawing release (load harness and part numbers with usage statement into releasing system)
-Create and feed all data into the system
-Initiate TWO (Temporary Work Order) in case of any deviations or required reworks
-Interfere with Product Design Engineering and Systems Engineering for Cost Documentation and Cost Tracking
-Create the Quotable Document and the correspondent updates and attach them to all PRT work orders that require math at sign-off
-Put in the mass for each wiring harness part number during P2/P3 release in the release (the mass has to be updated with a change )
-If investment for prototype tooling is required an EWO has to be created before each hardware stage
-Feed problems into the system and document pre-prototype, prototype and pilot hardware discrepancies online, solve problems
-Identify solutions to solve the problems related to the system
-Execute design changes and releases
-Create a PWO (Part Work Order) that is a supplement to the VWO (at that state of business the cost provided with the things needs to be fixed; the supplier fills out detailed information; approval and inclusion of the Buyers DRE to approve the next step)
-Support regular interface group meetings with all relevant parties

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Electrical Engineering background
-Familiar with Automotive electrical architecture and schematics
-Familiar with GM IVED Schematics (desirable)
-Work experience with Opel projects (desirable)
-English and German skills
