Design Quality Engineer/Risk Management Medical Devices

DESIGN QUALITY ENGINEER/RISK MANAGEMENT MEDICAL DEVICES

On behalf of our client, a global worldwide company specialized in medical devices based in Basel area, we are looking for a DESIGN QUALITY ENGINEER with experience in design control activities for released medical devices. This is a contracting role starting ASAP until end of June 2016 with an option to extend.

In this position the DESIGN QUALITY ENGINEER will be responsible for supporting all design control related activities for released medical devices by following the existing governing design change procedures. As part of the role, you will also be responsible for risk management activities, creation of technical documentation such as technical files and design dossiers. You will also be working together with other teams and departments such as R&D, Regulatory and Manufacturing, therefore a proactive and positive team-player attitude is highly desirable.

You bring to this role:
- 2+ years' experience in the field of medical devices, work experience under GMP and ISO regulated environment
- Expertise in Quality Engineering/Process Excellence, Lean experience is preferred
- Strong background in Product Risk Management and risk management documentation
- Strong know-how of regulatory, quality or compliance areas
- Proven experience in writing and handling technical documentation
- Excellent communication in German and English
