Design (Project) Co-Coordinator/Manager

DESIGN CO-ORDINATOR

Our global pharmaceutical client, based in central Switzerland, is currently undertaking a new build project of a high-spec, automated facility of the future. They are building the project team and need experienced and confident individuals to support.

LOCATION: Central Switzerland.

DURATION: 12 months initial contract

ROLE:

- Acting as client representative to oversee the co-operation between the nominated design company and our client.
- Drive daily deliverables, ensuring output to set timelines and agreed standards.
- Work alongside design company to ensure client requirements are met throughout all design stages, commencing with the detailed design.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure company specific standards as well as Good engineering practices are met and maintained throughout the full project life cycle.
- Organise, oversee and ensure follow up actions are completed for the following sessions:
- HZOP
- EHS
- Operational reviews
- ATEX reviews
- Value Engineering reviews
- Waste minimisation
- Support the internal process design leads in their cooperation and communication with the external design company.
- Work closely with the project management team and provide regular updates to the senior management team.

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Strong experience with greenfield/new build or large CAPEX projects within a GMP regulated environment.
- EITHER previous experience as a project design lead for a greenfield project of value c. €500mil.
- OR extensive Project Engineering/Management experience within a greenfield project of value c. €500mil for the full project life cycle.
- Excellent understanding of best engineering practices and documentation requirements for FDA and GMP.
- Outstanding communication skills, and previous experience dealing with third party stakeholders and senior management teams.
- Fluent German language skills essential, some English language knowledge required.
