Engineering Design Manager - Semiconductor/ Optoelectronics/ IC/ ASIC

£80,000 - £100,000 + DOE and Excellent Benefits.

Progressive are recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join an excellent leading organisation that is a key contender within the semiconductor industry. This organisation is commutable from Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who can work well with counterparts to extend the companies competencies within their specialist industry. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of highly skilled engineers who operate in using commercial technologies and design suites such as CAD and Cadence.

The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects around the hardware development within the semiconductor arena and will be required to liaise with the Marketing, Design and Sales teams to make sure that products are deployed to market on time.

Required Skills:

- Previously worked one the Semiconductor industry
- Degree qualification/HND
- Knowledge of IC design tools
- Previously managed a team of Engineers
- Management experience
- Experience of running multiple concurrent projects
- Managing hardware development
- Front end experience
